Brentwood Capital Advisors Completes Fifth Assignment in 2002


Nashville, TN - November 14, 2002 -- Brentwood Capital Advisors, LLC. ("BCA") today announced it has completed its fifth transaction of 2002. BCA is a Nashville-based investment banking firm specializing in raising capital for and providing financial advisory services to growing, middle-market healthcare and business services companies. The $15.6 million equity financing for Nashville-based Surgical Alliance Corporation brings to $57.6 million the total raised for clients during 2002.

Surgical Alliance was created to form joint ventures with physicians to open specialty hospitals and freestanding outpatient surgical centers. The other completed transactions in which BCA served as exclusive financial advisor include $10 million in equity for Nashville-based KEYS Group Holdings, which financed the acquisition of Children's Comprehensive Services in a going private transaction; $20 million in mezzanine debt for Nashville-based Psychiatric Solutions to help finance future acquisitions in addition to the four freestanding psychiatric hospitals acquired in the past year; and $12 million in senior debt for Louisville- based Health Essentials.
